Hi! We are getting married at the Hard Rock in 16 days! Things are hectic but one thing I will say is that our wedding coordinator is Jacqueline and she is AMAZING! Rene from the Miami office contacted me on July 5th to go through the details. Really?! 22 days before my wedding you think any bride will be ok with planning their wedding just 22 days before? I have been in contact with Jacqueline since the beginning of December. She is wonderful! Will post details once we get back from the wedding!

Hello Brides to Be!

 

I am starting to plan my wedding and we just discovered the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana! It is AMAZING. My wedding date is not until September 2013. I have read a lot of the reviews and it seems that most people complain about the food. Can the brides that are having your wedding in 2012 please come back and comment it would be really helpful.

Hey ladies, just got married there a month ago and it was absolutely AMAZING!! Everyone had such a wonderful time. The food at the wedding was delicious with the exception of the wedding cake. It looked beautiful but tasted ok, not the kind of cake we are used to. Everyone said how good the food at the reception was.

We just received our contract for August 10, 2013! I have some questions I was hoping someone could answer...

In the email that was sent - there were lots of documents - which ones need to be filled out and returned in order to 100% confirm our wedding date?

If we are using the compliments of Hard Rock package and the symbolic ceremony do we need to send any deposits?

How long is the wedding ceremony?

Which restaurant is best for the 30 person dinner?

If anyone else earned a private function for guests booking a certain number of nights - how did that get confirmed? Did you have to wait until you got a room rate? Three couples that will be attending have already booked their rooms (for a total of 21 earned nights) so will those count toward my private function?

My coordinator sent me a document for my guest list - we have 30 people exactly that will be invited, but right now we don't have a confirmed total. Should I just fill the list out with 30 names, and then update it when we get closer?
