Car accidents=bad day

Well I had really good intentions but it didn't go too well. I was taking my dog to the local dog park this afternoon and this *&$*@# woman decided to pull out in front of my car and I couldn't stop in time so I smashed into her. My poor pup smashed into the windsheild ( she usually sits in the back seat and WON"T go in a kennel so that's not an option) I tried the soccer mom thing and attempted to keep her poor little body off the dash but is just wasn't possible. Most of her body ended up on the windsheild/dash area despite my efforts. The woman got out and apologized saying she was sorry the other car was up too far and she couldn't see me coming so she pulled out infront of me. I was soooo pissed and really worried about my dog. I felt like a mom who had let her kid down by not being safe.

While I was at the vet with Brandy the woman's insurance agent called and said the woman claimed it was my fault!!! WTF how in her tiny little brain couldn't she say it was my fault!? Well to sum up I have spent 2 hours on the phone( when I should be studying for school) explaining what happend. Hopefully it will work out well. Brandy is ok and resting on the couch. She is on pain meds as she was banged up some. Thanks for listening as I am having a rough night and my FI is out of town. Uuugh.

Thanks girls- She was turning right from a side street and turned in front of me and didn't have NEARLY enough time to get up to speed and I didn't have time to slow down. I could hear my tires squeal. My insurance company said she is at fault as she was reponsible for stopping not me.

I just stopped shaking about an hour ago. I cried at the vet when Brandy got all worked up and I had to muzzle her. She was cowering away from me after as if I had hit her.

oh poor Brandy, I got the gate for the back of my SUV for my fur babies as I refuse to let them sit in the front, mainly because they will want to drive with me and they both feel that my lap is big enough for them.

Sorry about your car and that the lady thinks she was not in the wrong, did you call the police?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
