NOW LARIMAR BRIDES

Recommended Posts

Hey Ladies,

I'm planning on having my wedding at NOW in november and I'm getting a little anxious, because I havent heard anything from them, after my request. How long did it take until someone got back to you and how long did it take for things to get finalized. I'm afraid everything will be booked up.

Thank you guys.

@suzzMF. what email did you use to request info?claribeal and cristina are the wedding coordinatora, you should probably hear from them in 1week...they can be slow with reply, but usually not from the begining...i would just resent the email and put in the subject New bride weddding package request or something like this

Thank you @Skygirl, I think i need to start working on my patience, cause I have none. I actually got an email back this morning from Mercy in the wedding department, she send me all the info I need and docs i need to fill out. So I'm hoping I get my date confirmed. I'm excited.

@suzzMF. Yes, work on your patience. And if you have any questions ask us here in this forum. Also if you are writing an email with questions to WC. try not to write an essay, just remember english is their second language. Bullet poitexactly what you need to be answered. Also i never heard of Mercy..they probably hired another WC, due to the reason they couldnt get back on time to everyone. Happy Planning

I've a question...I know that if you are  getting married (for real) in DR you need to get your documents translated. But what if you're doing a vow renewal? We've just gotten hitched to prevent the whole translation thing and now I need to know, do I have to get our marriage license translated? Or is it understandable in any language?

I sent an email to the WC but figure the forum may be quicker.

So not to make you all panic but Claribel is no longer working for the Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just posted a message on the other Now Larimar forum with some other details but I talked to my TA today and she said that is the reason why Claribel isn't responding! I can't decide if it is a blessing in disguise because she was terrible at responding or if everything I have done so far has been lost in translation. Make sure to doublecheck with Cristina on all of your important details. She didn't know I had pastor york confirmed and booked so that makes me nervous but nothing I can do at this point. She also didn't know where I was having all my events. So hopefully it is all available and it was just a little shaky without her this last few weeks but she will get on top of everything. So if I were you I would contact Cristina and just confirm services and locations. My wedding is in 3 weeks!! AAAHhhhh!!!!!! I am so not prepared!!!! Ha!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
