Hi there!

I am getting married at Now larimar the 2 of May 2012. I have over 40 guest attending. I am sooooo excited but there is a little problem......I have been sending emails for the past month and I got no answer. Yesterday I called and I was told that they have problems with the emails. I even sent one to the concierge, still nothing. I am freaking out because the big day is in less then 2 months and i can`t have any answers from anybody!!!! Anybody having the same problems?

They were having some issues with their servers....I would email them again...even though you are fraking out, and as hard as it is to realize...you are not the only bride they are dealing! Took me a bit to understand that. I am getting married on May 11th and Cristina said that I would be assigned a specific wedding coordinator at the end of March. In every email I always start it off being understanding of how busy they are and It seems she really appreciates that.

I have been on & off again just reading posts from all types of wedding plans on here since Aug 2011. I am a Canadian bride from Calgary & I will be getting Married on April 24, 2012. After having to deal with many no responses from Claribel, I am happy to say that Cristina has taken over for me & she has been great so far.

 

Vav- thank you for all your info & pics, they have helped a lot!

 

I have made OOT bags for my guests & will be posting the pics soon, just doing some finishing touches. Hopefully I can meet some of you wonderful ladies if we cross paths on our vacations! We will be there from the 13th of April so I think I will be able to see a few of your weddings before mine. 

 

Is anyone booked with DJ Mannia? I wanted to use their services but Claribel had told me they weren't allowed at the resort, has this changed? If so, I am def booking them, they are way cheaper & offer more.

 

I am still unsure about what to do for our centerpieces yet. We want to bring a lot of our own decor because the prices at the resort are just ridiculous!

Hello, April 13 is just around the corner.. You must be so excited. The price that the hotel is quoting for my center pieces is $250 each.....that is just crazy. So I found the exact same ones in Toronto for a fraction of the price so i bought them and I'm going to ship it down. I will just pray that they don't brake. Let me know what you decide to do.

Just wanted to know what types of centerpieces you are doing & what your colours are? I am wanting to bring my own decor but I thought if we will all be down there at the same time we could share & split the cost of votive candles & small things like that......votives are $5 each at the resort! what a rip off! My colours are watermelon(fuschia) & champagne

I like the tall cylinder with the flowers inside and the floating candles. I have them already and will ship them I just have to pray that they make it there in one piece.
