Any Grand Coral Beach Club or Indigo Beach Club Brides?

Recommended Posts

Did anyone have their reception at one of these beach clubs and have guests stay at an all-inclusive?  If so, which all-inclusive?  That's what I think I would like to do, but not sure.

What is the capacity for Grand Coral Beach club?

Hey LukyJ,

As a wedding planner here in the Riviera Maya, and had in the past clients choosing the following options.

staying at nearby all inclusive PlayaCar Palace, Hacienda Tres Rios and Rio Palace.  In fact one of our Nov Brides has decided on the option of having her ceremony at the hotel and take the reception to the beach club.

Other options out there are Condo hotels such El Taj.

Just to give you an idea we have had a wedding for up 150 guests at Grand Coral Beach club.

Don´t hesitate to ask me any thing and i will be happy to help.

Happy Planning!

Joyce

After looking through any and all pictures of Grand Coral Beach Club weddings that I could locate, I am completely in love with the venue. The only major concern that I have is the low music volume that they require - 68dB before 10 pm and 65 after. I would love to hear from past brides, weddingsinplaya or other coordinators whether they find it to be an issue. Can you hear the DJ playing and do people continue dancing past 12:00 am? Have you heard of instances when police showed up and caused problems? We are planning to have approximately 100 people who love to party and I would not want anything like that to ruin the night.

Hi,

Initially I was looking at a villa for our reception but too many restrictions, now I cant decide between Canibal Royal and Grand Coral or just Wicky's. Does anyone have any suggestions, we're about 30 people. I don't have a huge budget either, Im trying to plan everything myself to save the wedding planner fee but I'm wondering if wedding planners get a better rate on everything?

Does anyone know if i have to use a wedding planner to book at Wicky's?

Any advise/comments/suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Hello Dp21,

As a wedding planner in the Riviera Maya, I am just curious what Villa would have restrictions in the Riviera Maya, especially because we work with many Villas in the Area for the fact that they have flexibility. To answer your question.  We love all 3 locations, since you have mentioned you dont have a huge budget, you may consider ruling out Grand Coral from the list as they have a location fee of $2000 usd alone.

On the other hand Wickys is same private. depending on your vision it may work if you are OK with a same private place.  Canibal Royal I believe you must use their in house DJ.

Hope this information was helpful.

Feel free to ask us for any advice and we will be happy to help or email us : [email protected]

Happy Planning

Joyce

Any house in playacarphase 1, what do you mean by wickeys as being the same private? I have contacted grand coral and since my wedding will be on monday they offered a 50% discount on the rental fee, all I'm looking for a simple dinner on the beach with mariachi, what would you recommend? Thanks a mil Joyce!

Hey Dp21,

What I meant with Wickys being semi formal, is that you can have your reception on the beach or deck and they would still have the restaurant open for the public especially since you have a small group.  Playacarphase1 Villa has only one villa that usually permits weddings and actually the restrictions come from the municipality.

See the video of a wedding you at a villa , its not in playacar but they have the flexibility.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
