Any Grand Coral Beach Club or Indigo Beach Club Brides?

Recommended Posts

Thank you!!!

Can I ask you if Luis prepared your tasting? or was it just his staff? We are getting the tables from Banquetes Margarita which are the suppliers of Grand Coral!. My wedding is in a month, so if you need info about how it went or recommendations please let me know!!! If I can be of any help I will!!!

Luis did and I think his staff, they were all so helpful!! Let me know if you want to know the food we tried. I would love any info and especially feedback that you have after your wedding. A month!!! You must be so excited!!!! Can I ask how much the tables and chairs were? Also what are you doing for your set up? Are you using the same chairs for the ceremony? So happy to talk to another Beach Club bride! Best of Luck!

Yzzel,

Just had my wedding there on Friday, November 2nd. We flew in on Monday and did the tasting Wednesday. I was so incredibly nervous about the food, especially since I did the tasting 2 days before the wedding! I had given my planner some suggestions and she gave them to Luis. Luis blew us away during the tasting!!!! He went above and beyond our expectations. Im very picky about food and I was pleased with EVERYTHING he made for us. Our guests were equally pleased with their meals during the wedding. Luis is great at what he does! He is creative and open to suggestions! I know exactly how you feel about being nervous with the wedding being so close, but you're in good hands with Luis and his incredible staff!!

About where guests stayed- Our guests stayed in various places in Playa and we arranged for vans to pick them up at their hotels.

If you ladies have any questions, feel free to PM!

Dear Melig,

Thank you for your answer! Im so happy you hear that! Last time I spoke with Luis he told me that he's open to any suggestion I made for the menu but still I wasn't sure if it was good food!. My FI and I are very picky on food and obviously would like to have a delicious dinner! Can I ask you another thing? Did you went with the DJ Diego Alvarado? He is the option of Grand Coral but I haven't heard much from him!

Dear Sophia,

I haven't received the final quote on the tables but they will send it to me within the next few days. As soon as I get them I'll post it for you!. I'm using the same tiffany chairs for the ceremony in the reception. And I'm thinking of having small round tables of 8pax. I'm getting really excited but also a little bit nervous as I dont really know some of the vendors!.

I'll keep you posted!

Thanx,

Yzzel

Yzzel, I used the DJ my planner recommended, Orlando Paz (Orly Mixer). I was happy with him. He gave me 3 sheets to fill out to get an idea of what kind of music my husband and I wanted. He was very detailed. He did a good job of feeling out the crowd and took suggestions. Danay, I did use their deck as my dance floor and it worked out wonderfully! I'm not sure how many guests you're having, but for us the size if the area was great. We had a small wedding (33 people) so we had some free space. Are you ladies using a planner/coordinator? Are you using Grand Coral as both a ceremony and reception site? Who have you ladies picked for your photographer? Anything else I can help with, please let me know!! Melissa

Thanks for your input on hotels ladies. We're looking into getting a group rate from Mahekal hotel right now, it looks lovely.

Melig-I am using Kristee@ Fresa Weddings as my planner. My wedding isn't until August of next year but so far she's been great. We're having both the ceremony and reception at Grand Coral.

I would love to hear everyones suggestions on photographers as well. I wanted to use del sol but they're a bit too pricey for us. At the moment I'm leaning towards Ivan Luckie but haven't officialy booked him yet. I also won't be able to do a tasting until the week of our wedding so any recommendations you ladies have on the food let me know. Thanks!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
