Just ordered my luggage tags from idgroup! And cards from vista print! Thanks for this thread to lead me in the right direction. I ordered 100 tags and 100 straps =$64 then I did the free business cards on vista. Added a "this bag belongs to" on the back of the cards = $23 I'll have 250 cards but I figure I can order more tags if I need them or just throw the rest away. It was the cheapest prices I could find! And I think they will be great!

Hi Brides!

I'm attempting to do the same thing that most of you seem to be doing for your save the dates (luggage tags from idgroup and then business card inserts from vistaprint).  I'm worried about how to mail these though! I looked up USPS metrics, and you can mail something in a regular envelope/stamp if it's under 1/4 in and 3.3 ounces. I found a similar ID tag on Amazon (more expensive) and I think one tag is 1.6 ounces (=3.2ounces for two tags), so I'm hoping it will be under 1/4 in if i don't actually attach the straps.  Any thought or actual experience with shipping these? Thanks!

Hope this helps!

May be too late, but for future brides in Canada, I found laminating tags and badge holders at walmart, both of which I've seen brides use. If you have a laminating machine they are 20/$2. The laminating machine is $30. The self laminating ones are 5/$3. The badge holders are 12/$2.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
