Look at what I got in the mail today! I was soooo excited when I got home and found this package and seen who it was from!!

Wedding dress hanger.jpg

I ordered it from the original, Anna Hartshorn!  She was even featured in Martha Stewart weddings.

You can only order from her on Sunday's after 6pm central and she only sells so many per week.

The hanger was only $32 with shipping, here is the link:

On the Sunday when I was about to order my hanger, our electricity went out due to a crazy storm. At about 3pm eastern time and did not come back on until half past midnight! At 7pm (6pm central) I called my good friend Tonnisha in a panic and asked her to order the hanger for me before it was sold out and she did it with no hesitation!

I went to give her the money 2 days later and she told me not to worry about it, it was a gift! How awesome is she!

I am no artist (OBVIOUSLY) but I wanted to send Tai Flora a sketch of the basic table set up. Especially since I plan on reusing some of my floral arrangements. For example, the huppa arrangements will go on the tall centerpieces and the brides maids bouquets will go on the lower centerpieces. I am a very visual person so it was just a matter of time before I attempted to sketch out something weather I was going to send it to the florist or not... lol. We are over a year away from my big day so let's just see how close to the sketch it really is when it is all said and done.

Here is the reception area:

We would like to put up white drapery to cover the blue walls and serve as the back drop. Here is the sketch.....DON'T LAUGH!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
