Orchards were purchased at a store called Michaels. It is a craft store. They were nice to they felt like rubber instead of silk and the quality was amazing. I used a bud for my hubby's boutonniere mixed in with real roses and no one could tell. They did such a fantastic job on our bouquets. They were beautiful!

Hi Brides!

Just came back from our site visit.  Had a meeting with Cecilia (who I absolutely love, and is very efficient).  A couple of you had questions about bringing your own centerpieces.  I asked Cecilia about this and she seems to be ok with taking any inspiration we give her and designing it on her own.  I felt comfortable telling her my colors, vision, etc.  She jotted everything down and seemed confident.  I'm thinking that since these are included in our package, why not just trust her, instead of paying the extra to buy and send it all.  Seems this is the easier approach.  After being there, it definitely seems more real.  Really enjoyed the resort, our only complaint was that the pool was a bit small and seemed unclean.  The location is priceless though.  Very romantic!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

:)

I am so excited too....I saw someone say centerpieces are included in the price...is this true? I was planning on bringing all my stuff down but what a pain...if not, how pricy is the decor there? Anyone know?

THANKS :)

Hmmm my centerpieces were not included in the price. I just asked if I could borrow vases some cylinder vases that were another brides that she left behind. Then I brought the orchids starfish etc etc...I am pretty sure they try and charge you for centerpieces if you don't talk to them about it and bring yoru stuff. The package does include I think two floral centerpieces but not what some brides might be picturing. Hope this helps.

Hola brides ...... we just saw a very cool new centerpiece idea at our last wedding that's pretty amazing! it's a life-sized sculpture of the couple's hands wearing their wedding rings, and set in a mini-beach - strewn with sea shells + their rose petals.......it looks totally awesome!

A local artist is making each one to order, and it's fast becoming the latest buzz.......I can send you her contact info if you're interested.1000

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
