Dreams Cancun 2013 Destination Wedding Brides

Recommended Posts

I am getting married on the gazebo.  When i vacationed there i saw a few weddings.  If you have extra money i am sure the corsages they sell, or flowers on a pedastal would be nice. But to be completely honest, its just so beautiful that you dont need much of anything.  I just bought my own sashes online and will tie them around the seats (adding a pretty pink to the setting).  But the white gazebo in contrast to the amazing color water is just so gorgeous that i dont feel like i need much more.  And remember, people will be looking at you more than anything else.  Good luck and i hope you have a perfect day!!!

Thank you for the info! I was worried about how I was going to come up with the extra money for decorations at the gazebo. You mentioned you bought your chair sashes online, can you give me the name of the webiste? I was thinking of spending the extra money and renting the chivari chairs through Claudia at the resort and possibly bringing matching charger plates to give our reception tables a more GRAND feel.

I actually bought them on ebay. They were very inexpensive but i got them and tied them around a chair we have at home to see how it looks and i think they are great.

I was just wondering if any of you plan on getting married at the Gazebo? If so, what are your decoration plans?

Hi Jencakes21,

The Gazebo at the Dreams Cancun has an outstanding view and is very versatile in terms of decor, you can either go for a lavish elegant look:

...or just add a few hints of color and keep it nice and simple:

Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure it will look beautiful.

Have fun and best wishes planning your big day!!

Hi!  I have been using the great information on this site since I started planning my wedding last summer.  We are just starting to have people start booking their travel, and we are having a difficult time figuring out what "formula" Dreams Cancun uses to determine comps.  We have some of our family that are struggling to make it, and if possible, we would like to pass our comps on to them.  Does anyone have any idea on this?  Our TA is working on it, but I don't think he is advocating for us as much as I would like him to...

Thanks!

For every 5 rooms that u book you will get the 6 room for free ( kind of ,I will explain).

You get the lowest amount for all your guest booking .

Eg ,if some are up grading and some are not you get the lowest on of the two.

If some are staying for 10 days and others for 7 , once again you will get the lowest of the two.

We had 18 rooms booked and got 3 free . The total in dollars that you can allocate to whom ever was 2997.00

Hope this helps you out.

    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need  proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture  I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face?  Thanks in advance.
    • I think you should approach the dentist. That would be the best idea as of now.
    • I think that would be a great idea. I have tried it once and loved it.!
    • That's really sweet. I am sure she would love that.!!
