Dreams Cancun 2013 Destination Wedding Brides

Recommended Posts

I thought the prices were also outrageous.  I haven't booked my flights yet seeing that its still a year away but my guests and I will be using an outside vendor.  You would think that if you are getting married there that they would be able to better accommodate their prices..

I dont think you should worry. I don't have the number on hand but if you call resort and tell them to transfer you to wedding department. I e called about 5 times and they always answer the phone! Any questions you have, we might have answer to do ask away!

Hi,

I am getting married at Dreams Cancun in may of 2013 and was getting worried that Claudia hasn't emailed me back.  Its been a month since I last emailed her and still no response.  Should I be concerned?  Is there a direct number that I could reach her by phone..

Thanks

Go to the resort website and use their phone number in Mexico. I almost always get here there with no problem.

Thanks.  One of my bridesmaids will be going to Cancun this October and I was hoping that she could go by the Dreams and speak to Claudia.  I wanted her to do a food sampling while she was there?  I wanted to set that up with Claudia.

I have a question for you.  How did your guest book their trip to your wedding.  I was going to book through the resort hoping that it would be cheaper but the rates they provided me with were outrageous.  I have decided to have everyone book on their own through and outside wholesaler.

I booked through a travel agent and she rocked. She got all of us Ocean front rooms at the garden room rate and saved our guests hundreds of dollars. also my travel agent gave us a $1000 discount since we have 26 people booked through them. It was so much easier using one travel agent at one place avoids tons and tons of problems.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
