Yes, I see what you're saying.

Do you think $1200 is a good price for 75 professional invites, with all those extras? Apparently the Thank You cards are free right now too - it's a special promotion going on.

I gave myself the same budget. Before I read this thread I thought I did a good job coming in under budget, haha. You still have time. I am sure the girls on the board can help you find a website or something that doesn't require DIY and is a little less expensive. :)

That does however include calligraphy hand written on the outer and inner envelopes, an extra RSVP card for hotel/flight info and an extra Reception card for the Welcome Dinner. This also includes menu cards and thank you cards. But after seeing what everyone else paid, I think I'm going to be sick. I wish I was good at DIY projects.

Any bored ladies out there looking for a side gig in invitation making?

It totally depends on what you're getting for your $1200. Do you have samples or pics?

i'd totally do it, but like sarah said, it would be similar pricing...

personally, i can't imagine spending that much on invites, but i'm pretty cheap as far as that stuff's concerned...i wouldn't say i'm necessarily a crafty person, but these really weren't too complicated...is it the creativity that you think you're lacking or the time?

i got mine through a discount site that is linked to costco and the cost for 200 invites with insert for travel info and response card was under $300. the invites were beautiful and simple and looked just like the expensive ones that sell for way more in bridal stores.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
