Just curious if anyone has given an "about your vacation" booklet for people to look at before they leave.

I was thinking of booking a few excursions through our travel agent up here to save some money on that and wanted to send everyone who is coming a prevacation booklet to let them know what to expect, what to pack (even though it was included in the invitation they may lose it) information on the excursions etc.. Has anyone ever done this?

I think it is a great way to get your guests excited... And cost effective if it is less expensive to book beforehand.. and I would let your guests know that as well!! That they will save money if they book from home beforehand, I think that would make more people book their excursions ahead of time.. Maybe send them out with a chocolate lollipop (the ones you can make from the molds) to add a little something to it!! So it's not like you are just forcing excursions down their throat!! Let us know how it works out!!

  • 3 weeks later...

if anyone knows of a wedding website that is free to use and also requires guests to enter a special code to enter the website, please let me know. i think it's a good idea for security reasons to have something like this so your information is not just "out there" on the internet.  i know someone that suggested i look into using a website like this that has a security code, but i don't know how to keep searching for it since nothing ever comes up on a search.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
