@perianjay - we are expecting at least 100 but maybe closer to 125. She said the max is 80. Do you think it can hold more than that? Maybe I should try to convince her!

Hi @Danielle1  I originally expected approximately 70-80 and now we expect 100+ guests. When I talked with my WC she said that the terrace can fit 100 and even once they had 120 up there!!! Obviously I think 80 may be the comfortable max but I do think your numbers could work if you wanted it to. I am going to try to fit people up there because the terrace is one of the main reasons we chose Beach Palace. I plan to have a very short ceremony so hopefully people wont be too uncomfortable for long :)

@FutureMrsGarcia Thanks so much! I may try to cram everyone in then!  I'm getting confused between the sky wedding deck and the sky terrace  - are they two different things?

Did everyone use their Palace Resort Wedding site? I was just going to use one on the knot, but I'm not sure if the Palace Resort weddings sites make it easier for people to book rooms?

Hi fellow BP brides,

I started a thread to list all of the preferred vendors. Please take a look and add to it! I am finding that my WC hasn't given me a full list. Thanks so much!

I look forward to joining in on the forum once I really get things going (hopefully this weekend).

I received tons of information from my wedding planner yesterday. The buffet menus say they are a max of 50 people - what do we do if we have more than 50 people? I've emailed the wedding planner, but I thought you guys may give me a better answer!

@Danielle1 So I just asked my WC this and she said that for over 50 people there are different buffet menus available! She emailed them to me and there are just more food options that the regular buffets. Let me know if you want me to pass them along to you :)

@FutureMrsGarcia Thank you for the info! I asked my wedding coordinator for the other menus and she forwarded it to me! Thanks :)

Hi ladies,

I hope I'm in the right place. I'm seriously considering the Beach Palace as my venue (in part thanks to @perianjay) but I really really want to get married on the beach (grew up on one, fiance proposed on one, need to get married on one). However, I've noticed that most of the brides getting married at BP chose the sky bar for the ceremony. Is there something wrong with the beach? Is it too crowded? Not private enough? Or just not very nice?

Thanks in advance, this is kind of a deal breaker for me.

Hi @CaroV! The pictures of the beach are beautiful - it's that turquoise blue carribbean sea! This is one of the reasons I chose the resort because I wanted a gorgeous beach for my guests if they were traveling all the way to Mexico! The issue with the beach is the privacy. I don't think it is that private but that may not be a deal breaker for you. I would look at the one of the recent videos posted on here in the last month or so (sorry I'm forgetting which bride it was) and check out her ceremony because it was on the beach. Personally, I think you can't go wrong with the beach or the terrace

@CaroV Glad you're considering BP! It's a stunning resort and it's known for having a beautiful beach. My FI and I have been there and we love the resort. The beach at beach palace isn't huge, so there isn't a ton of privacy, but with that being said i'd just recommend you choosing a later ceremony time. There won't be as many people around the beach if you do it a bit later in the day. I went back and forth with the beach and the sky deck and for the longest time I was dead set on the beach, but after seeing so many gorgeous photos of the sky deck I changed my mind. My ceremony time is at 4pm and i'm happy with that because I think it will be a nice flow for the day.. Ceremony 4pm, Cocktails 5pm and Reception 6pm-11pm. It also helps to have all of it so close together in timing because i've hired a photographer and videographer.. if I chose an early ceremony than i'd have to hire them for the full day which costs a lot more.
