Beach Palace Cancun Brides

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

My fiance and I are getting married on June 17 at Beach Palace. We're having our ceremony on the Sky Wedding Deck and the cocktail hour and reception on the Sky Bar South. I'd love to hear what brides have used for photographers, lighting, and AV.

We took at look at the recommended photographers and AV the hotel sent us. We're not crazy about DreamArt's photos. We don't know which items in the JSAV and PSAV packages are necessary (Do we need four speakers or are two sufficient? Where do the 8 LED lights and consoles go? What are trusses?). And we're not sure what we need to get for lighting on the Sky Bar.

Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated!  :)

Hello everyone! My fiancé and I chose BP and are doing a site visit in May with hopes for a October 2017 wedding. My only reservation is I'm having trouble getting a final price, no one will say "this is exactly how much it will be" so I'm not entirely sure if it fits into the budget I've allotted. I feel like every email I get is more fees like paying for open bar. All these reviews are amazing so I know the resort must be worth it but I haven't seen many brides talk about price, Is anyone else finding it hard to get final pricing??

@@Kristilu Hello! Congrats! Pricing is all one big process and it's like that for all resorts. I'd say that pricing will become more clear once you provide Palace with all of your criteria etc.

I'm not too sure about paying for an open bar. We got married in 2015 and there was never a fee to have an open bar.

I'd say to be prepared to have to piece your pricing together as time goes on. There will be some aspects of your wedding that you won't pay for through Palace directly (outside vendors if you use any etc).

If you have any specific questions feel free to message me.

Hey. I am planning a wedding for January 2017 at Beach Palace. I would love to get any input on what to do/what not to do. Also if anyone is willing to let me know about how much you spent for the ceremony and reception that would be great. Did most everyone do the civil cermony? I am just a little worried about the blood test in a foreign country. I am a nurse so I am a bit of a germ freak when it comes to stuff like that. Thanks!

Hi

I got married at Beach palace in September. We had an amazing day. I too was stressing before hand especially with some communication issues but everything was perfect on the day. Only issues were harpist getting the songs muddled up (minor issue) and photographer not taking any photos of me and my dad.

We had a small wedding, 18 of us in total on sky deck then went down a level for our meal and reception. Our guests went to sports bar to cool down while we had photos taken. It was unfortunate there wasn't a nicer bar. We paid for 1 extra reception hour then moved to the nice seats at side of sky bar. We chose the pure package which was beautiful. We went for the Italian menu and the food was delicious. Don't know what you mean re paying for open bar? It's an all inclusive resort! We used dreamart for photography, had a bluetooth speaker for music at night, didn't pay for extra lighting (basic lighting and candles were enough). I struggle to use this site on my phone. As for blood tests I am a nurse too and they were very clean! Feel free to mail me any more questions [email protected]. I struggle to get this site to work on my phone!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
