Beach Palace Cancun Brides

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

We have had our location confirmed (sky terrace) for our May 2014 wedding and we have qualified for unlimited events HOWEVER it appears to be the 2014 version - we signed our contract in May 2013 and most people had booked their vacation by October 2013 so we would have qualified then. Have any other brides experienced this and has anyone successfully argued a case to receive the 2013 benefits? The 2013 benefits seem to be more attractive than the 2014 ones.

Also has anyone had any success haggling with Zuniga? Or is their price a set price?

Thanks ladies

J xx

I got exactly the same quote. Are you working with Teresa?

Yes, I'm working with Teresa. Someone else mentioned asking your wedding planner for complimentary shuttle service. I"m going to try this as well. I"m working with Elizabeth @ Beach Palace.

What is everyone doing for reception table decorations? Initially, I was going with the white table/chairs/linens from the hotel. Seems a little plain since I'm moving the reception to the ballroom. My wp suggested using a Colin Collie collection but I don't like the linens or centerpieces offered. For $300 I was expected a better centerpiece arrangement. Did anyone use fake flowers in their centerpieces? Were they offered by the hotel? I'm trying to avoid bringing DIY down on the plane.

Will be heading to BP this weekend for our site visit. Has anyone else done it? Meeting with our WC and some of their photographers. Did you ladies know they now have 5 preferred vendors for photography? Until last week I thought it was just 1. So happy to have more options!

Hi @@LauraM - we found much cheaper rates through our travel agent (whom I LOVE) & we chose to get rates without transportation from her.  The sales reps at the resort (who send you the contract) are extremely pushy, take forever to get back to you, and are not flexible/clear on everything so I was totally turned off by them!  I'm glad we went with an outside agent too because I have had a few issues come up since we signed and it's great to have someone outside the resort on my side fighting for me.

Hi @@NicoleLV - which are the 5 photography vendors Palace uses now? I have only seen Sarani, Cecilia Dumas, Ocean Photo & RO.

Hi Ladies,

i wonder if you can help. I have trawled through previous posts to see if this has already been discussed but can't seem to find anything- sorry if it has and i've missed it!

We are from the UK and have chosen to get married at Beach Palace as we love the hotel and more importantly love that you can get married on the Sky Terrace away from other guests - we visited Cancun last year and didnt like the idea of other guests watching the ceremony in their swimwear!

My question is, are there any other brides who have travelled from the UK to get married at Beach Palace and how was your experience? Did you go via a Travel Agent or arrange the holiday and wedding seperately?

Also to all brides, how far in advance would you suggest i need to reserve our date at Beach Palace to ensure i can get the Sky Terrace? We are planning to get married in May 2016, is it too premature to get in contact now?

If any brides have any electronic copies of documents/info they would be willing to send to me it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
