Ok, so I have been assigned a wedding planner, Elizabeth. Has anyone dealt with her yet? I will be paying a $500. vendor fee, which I'm ok with  since that was what they had quoted me previously when I had first talked to Rocio months ago.

My wedding planner is Alejandra Muniz and I have it in writing from them that the outside vendor fee will be $500...Its still high but much better than $800! That is just getting outrageous

Oh my heavens! Leaving on Monday! And I need to vent...

60 day planner - Marisol has been wonderful.

But apparently, Marco is my onsite coordinator - but I have yet to hear from him. Period. No email introducing himself, nothing.  Starting to get extremely concerned! All I am asking for is confirmation of our onsite meeting, which is supposed to be MONDAY. Losing confidence...:worried2:

On a brighter note, I found a webcam that sits on top of Beach Palace.

Do you have his email or number I would try to get that info from Marisol and then reach out to him yourself.  Sometimes you have to be very persisitant with the cooridnators/planners.  I am and I have all my contacts info, my wedding planner and onsite coordinator are always in contact with me and i'm 11 months until my wedding.  Keep trying i'm sure he's just busy with other weddings happening it takes some time for them to get back to you or to contact you but once you are there you will be well taken care of.  Your wedding will be great.....so exciting!!

Hi Everyone,

I am getting married at Beach Palace on August 31st 2014! I have been reading some of your threads and getting little scared!lol. We just started to plan after we reserved our dates. This is going to be a Indian wedding. I am mostly likely brining in outside vendors for makeup, photography, cake. Does anyone know of any good make up artists? Or does the resort have a good artist/stylist. Our site visit in in december.

I didn't hear anything about the $800 vendor fee for outside vendors? So far, we have talked to Kalena only.. any reviews on her?

It would be nice to find other indian brides who are planning their wedding at BP.

Good luck and have fun planning everyone:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
