Beach Palace Cancun Brides

I was wondering if any if you have experience with the hotel charging guests who booked outside of your group additional fees for attending your private events? It seems rather ridiculous given the guest are staying at the hotel but decided to book their stay through another travel agent. How strict is the hotel on this policy and do they charge the individual guest or the bride/groom? Thank you!!

@perinjay- I have nayeli! she hasn't responded to me at all! and when I do write to her, her automatic e-mail pops up that she is out of the office. I agree- it is just added stress, I want to make sure she knows exactly what I want. She told me that they had a gazebo, then my TA went there and said there was no gazebo. I e-mailed her and she told me there was and said see attached photos, I opened the photos up and they were pictures of the pure collection there was no gazebo even in the picture!! I was so confused. She also told me to see attached pictures of the pure collection, and when I opened the photos up it was actually pictures of the pearl shimmer collection. She is causing me to stress out. I have contacted my TA  and asked her if I could get a new WC.

@ ABfuturesulli I believe as long as the guest is at the hotel it doesn't matter if they booked with your group or not. The only time you get charged additional fees is if the guest are coming from different hotels.

Hi Ladies @@jj575757 @@ABfutureSulli

I was at Beach Palace a couple of weeks ago for my site visit. There was no gazebo up. I think they only put it up at the time of event. Also, when she showed me photos, it was the same chocolate bamboo structure as before. I met with Gama and Zuniga and they showed me different ways to decorate it.

As far as guests who don't book with wedding group, yes you do have to pay the private event fee for them. The way they see it is that if you earn a free event because of your wedding group room nights, then only those that contributed to those room nights qualify for that event. So those that book outside of the group aren't included and have to be paid for. I'm not sure how they would track that. I didn't ask. If you don't earn a free event, then you would have to pay say $55 per person private event fee (reception) for all of your guests, whether in the group or not. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Has anyone brought or is anyone bringing their own chair sashes for the reception?  I'm wondering if it will be too much of a hassle to bring them and put them on chairs myself or have a friend do it... Latinasia does not offer them to rent.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
