Beautiful wedding at beach palace on 11.8.14. Marco was our coordinator and everything went smoothly. We did have a run in with JSAV at the end of the night. They said that their contract included a 1 hour break down time so they tried to stop the music an hour earlier. We did end up having to pay $150 on the spot for them to continue. Check your contracts!!

question for past brides - were you able to box up and take left over wedding cake to your room?   We are paying for the extra tier and know we are going to have some left over.  I asked my coordinator but never got a response on this.

When your guests start booking, do you receive some sort of weekly email (or monthly?) about who has reserved their rooms?  I thought I read that somewhere, but now I can't find it! I just want to make sure I keep up with how many rooms are served and such.  Thanks guys!

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this site. I am getting married on the sky deck at beach palace May 2016. I am going to go with the Pure package. And I am also interested in using latinasia as a vendor for additional flowers/ lighting. Has anyone used the pure package? If so, do you have any photos? Also, does anyone know if I have to pay a vendor fee to use Latinasia?? Also, the overhead lights for the sky terrace are those included or do we have to purchase those separately.

Thanks everyone so much! And thank you amber for introducing me to this site!!

I know I've read the answer to this question on here before, but can't seem to find it now - I apologize for re-asking!  Can anyone tell me exactly how the complimentary rooms work? For example, once we have 10 rooms booked, can I assign the 11th room to someone and they will not have to pay?  Also, has anyone used their complimentary rooms for their honeymoon?  Any info you all have would be great.  This blog is so helpful!

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that my WC Nayeli told me that  the sky deck now has a new white gazebo. My TA is there right now and I asked her to please send pictures if she sees the new gazebo! Has anyone had a wedding with this new gazebo? I cant seem to find any pictures!

Did anyone exceed their originally reserved rooms?  Our reserved rooms are almost full but guests are still booking... I'm wondering if they will still be able to keep booking through our website even after our reserved rooms are booked?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
