Beach Palace Cancun Brides

Recommended Posts

So I've read a lot of posts of people asking for various vendor info lately.... thought I'd share what I have.

JSAV is the current palace approved DJ.

Tania Tagle is an amazing Cancun make-up artist (not a palace vendor)

some of the buffet options are attached

the palace spa prices

some info about photo-booth rental/cigar rolling...

Hope this helps some of you! I know I was certainly very thankful when my WC finally started sending me info!

Laura,

Unfortunately I am not able to access these links (because I am new to the site and have not posted 150 times). Would you be willing to e-mail these pdf's to me? I would really appreciate it! [email protected]

@@esahunnie - Thank you so much for the in depth review! I'm going to take note of all your tips, and make sure to keep all of my paperwork in line. I can't beleive they sent your guests elsewhere. I'd be so so upset by that too. I'm glad your wedding otherwise seems like it went well

Do you have any pics of your Pure reception tables? That was my fave of the collections

Also, you said your reception went to 11:30. Did you pay extra to this time? I was told they only go til 11

Thanks!

With Palace resorts if you get over 75 room nights you get "free" events. Otherwise, depending on your room nights you get certain events free like a cocktail or dinner. Otherwise, you have to pay per person for a private reception. I think it's about $80/person if I remember correctly for the cocktail hour and 2 hour reception.

We have about 105 room nights so far, so we qualify for the free events and won't have to pay the per person fee. We are paying for upgrades and to lengthen our reception though

So the price really ranges, depending on how many guests you have.

Tygrrlily,

I am considering booking at this resort, largely because of the free events you can earn for booking 75+ nights. I am wondering, though, if each event is only free for 30 people since that is the number included in most wedding packages? Do you know if we would have to pay the per person fee for each person beyond 30?

No, if you qualify for free events for 75+ room nights, then you don't have to pay extra for the food/drink above 30. I was confused about that before too. You DO have to pay for an extra chair at the wedding ceremony though.  That only includes 30

Is Tequila restaurant the buffet?

Hi @@tygrrlily! Sorry for the delay. Yes, Tequila is the buffet restaurant. It's the largest space they have available.

I posted a few pics in my gallery too, but hopefully this works and you can view them here.

@@tygrrlily We were asked if we wanted extra sashes on the altar, we specifically said no. To the best of our knowledge, that was the complimentary decor!

We'll have to round up some pictures, but here are a couple that can help visualize our decor:

*The chocolate candy got a little soft. However, the humidity made for the absolutely softest, chewiest Swedish Fish ever!

@misbosox: We went with the Mexican buffet (since we were in Mexico) and all of our guests seemed to absolutely love it! The chicken mole was my favorite.

Did you bring your own candy or was it supplied by the hotel?

Hi @@tygrrlily! No, there was no extra charge for the white drapery. That complete set up came with the complimentary package.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
