Beach Palace Cancun Brides

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies! I am officially getting married at Beach Palace on May 10, 2014! (We will be there May 7-14, 2014)  Just made the room block with my travel agent and we are expecting about 30-40 people.  Planning to book the skyterrace for ceremony and the Sorth/north (not sure what its called) pool terrace area for the reception.  I currently have the 4:00pm ceremony time reserved as per my travel agents suggestion but I am kinda of doubting this after reading about people dripping sweat at 3:00 or the sun setting at 7:00...  I really want some photos on the beach while there is daylight so I am a bit torn.  I really dont want to be sweating up a storm though!  Has anyone had a 4:00pm (April-July) ceremony yet? How was it? Thanks!! I'm booking my wedding may 14th 2014! So excited, and I also picked 4pm as my time, only because I'd rather take pictures after the ceremony then before. I don't want to risk getting my dress dirty and then going to the ceremony.

Hey Beach Palace Brides, I'm waiting for Rocio to send me the contract to book my date, May 14th 2014, but she told me, we had to pay for our 7nights in advance as a deposit for the room blocks, any one have to do this? And if we get the 75 nights do we get the unlimited functions and 7 nights on the concierge level?

That is awesome!  Yay for May 2014!  What day do you arrive? How many people?  Are you doing a private reception?  (haha so many questions)

We are arriving on Sunday, Sunday to Sunday, and yes we are doing a private reception, but Rocio did tell me it was a request to have the Terraces and it wasn't guaranteed and it would be noted on the contract. Kinda bummed about that, but I figured there wouldn't be many brides on a Wednesday, at least I hope not lol ! I'm hoping 40-50 people can make it, they have plenty of time to save

Hi girls I too am a May 2014 bride! We went for the Tuesday 27th for the same reason as you, Bella Rios...hoping that it would cut the competition for the terrace. Have you ladies been able to book a room block? We are travelling from the UK so have to wait for the flight release this/next month. Can't even quote prices to my guests yet which is worrying me. Does the room block cost you anything and can you tell me what prices you've been quoted? Thanks :-) x

I did not have to pay up front. I went through a travel agent, all I did was pay deposits on all of my rooms including my own which was $100 per room, I reserved 15. When I got to 75 room nights and final payment was due they just subtracted the free nights so I did not have to pay anything else besides my initial deposit for rooms and I upgraded to a family room which was extra. This may be because I used a travel agent, I am not sure.

Also just a heads up...no matter how long they have to save...they won't!!! So be prepared that you will probably get some grief and groaning about cost. And the ones who say they are definitely in, may not be! Not to be a downer but it was a huge stressor for me and I ended up feeling very guilty at times and mad. You have to be in the frame of mind that it will all work out :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
