PSAV is a preferred vendor with Palace resorts- you do not need to pay an outside vendor fee as you can book them directly through your wedding coordinator!

Dear Shan0487,

I heard differently. Clarissa from BP told me that JSAV is now their preferred vendor, and you do have to pay the $500.00 outside vendor fee if you use PSAV.

Good Afternoon Nicole,

We are not longer working with PSAV, the only vendor now is JSAV any outside vendor will cost you $500 usdL

Do you still want to get the PSAV pricelist?

Regards,

Clarissa

Oh, well sorry to hear that then.  I just had my wedding 3 weeks ago and used PSAV over JSAV because they were significantly cheaper.  I have heard good things about both- just that most went with PSAV because they were cheaper.

I actually did not have a DJ- I did the ipod hookup where there was a tech man sitting next to our laptop the whole time in case something went wrong. We had a friend MC, so it worked out great and was waaay cheaper!! I spent probably 3-4 hours working on the music playlist but it was well worth it! :)

It sounded the same to me! It was the same thing the DJ would use- just we used our laptop instead of theirs! We actually only got one speaker instead of 2 cause it was cheaper that way too- and it worked out great.  I did not add any lighting I just used the lights at the resort (I'm a Sun Palace bride) and it worked out great! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
