DVD invitations?!?!

I love it, I think it's a really cute idea! And I love that you guys will do it in Hebrew, I'm sure your family in Isreal will love it. It is very unique and personalized and I think everyone will absolutely love it. Just make sure to include your wedding date and location so all the lazy people will have it.

If you don't have burning software, check out nero burning rom. it's very easy to use. DVDs are something that really vary in price. If you get a good deal on them, they are 25 cents each. We always buy name brand too (sony or TDK). We had some problems with generics. There is also a difference between DVD+Rs & DVD-Rs. Some burners only do one type.

 

Movie maker is already on your computer if you have windows XP. I thought it was really easy to start using.

 

I would think you could do this for a lot less than $15 each. Maybe $1 per DVD including disc, case & lable.

Well, with your answers, I think this is definitely the most original invitation I have ever heard. I esp love you will do it in Hebrew, the family will def appreciate that.

 

I think you need to get to work cuz we are going to need a sampling soon, ya know.

I like the idea a bunch. I think that if you put labels on the DVDs it would be even better! If you could find someone who has a DVD engraver writer thingy that would be awesome! it basically etches into the dvd itself. it looks really neat. A lot of new computers come with it.

I was going to suggest the etcher too (i think it's called lite scribe) but it can take 30 minutes per DVD. For 90 DVDs that might be too much. It does look really cool.

i think it's a great idea - quite original! you could get thicker cd or dvd cases and put all of the info inside like a real cd/dvd!

Thats what I was just thinking! It might be cute to put all the information in a little pamphlet with a picture of us on the front
