I found this paper I really love and thought I could use it for for my invites, but $6.50 a sheet?? Am I nuts?

      it's gorgeous
i bet if you check out scrapbooking stores you can find something just as nice for much cheaper (between $2-2.50/sheet at the most).
if you can't find a place near you let me know because i'm pretty sure my local scrapbooking store carries it (not exactly but pretty close as far as i can remember!)

Thanks lissah (when did you change your screen name??)

I orded some samples. They are pretty large sheets of I'll need to see how many invites I can get per sheet.. I'll see if I can justify the cost, lol!

ya i guess you wouldn't really be saving much now that i noticed the size
the ones at the sb stores are usually only 12x12"

How many invites do you have to do? It's very pretty paper, but in all honesty if you have a ton to send out, IMO I wouldn't spend the money I mean who really remembers invites? It's never really something people keep, so why go crazy spending the money of them. But that's just me..

                  Morning Amy!

It is beautiful paper! I like the first one best!
Does it have velvet on it?

If you can afford it, go for it!

If the price bothers you consider:
How many invites can you use it for per sheet
Is turquoise one of your colours?

It's beautiful paper but I'm concerned that with the dark coloring and the design, you wouldn't be able to read the wording too well. Is your plan to print right on this sheet or to add some kind of other paper on top of it? Maybe you can make a sample first to see if it works and to see how much you like it before spending the money on all the paper.

I would love to see how you make an invite out of this. Please post pics.
