Excuse the sprite cans, the stems aren't quite wrapped yet.  Question ladies, do I just wrap the stem in ribbon or should I purchase the Styrofoam 'thingy'?

My grandmother passed and some of the others don't have the health to travel :( That's special your grandfather is walking you down - I was hoping to have both of mine in lieu of my father but we'll see what happens when we get closer. (Our fathers might be in the same town) The last time I was with my guy and his family I truly fell in love with them - so maybe your time is comming if not oh well you got your man! :)

Them people (that's what I call them) they are a different type, so closed minded.  I tell everyone, if I would have met the family first, I am not sure that we would be here together today stupid.gifwacko.gif

As for my fitting, I stay up in northern VA and he will be in Arlington, so I am pretty sure it will go down (in my Kevin Hart voice) somewhere up here in my neck of the woods.  I know that's a far trek for you.

YAY! I was so excited to see! I love the programs that's a new one I havn't seen!

Ladies got cream ribbons and guys got orange ribbon ties.

Your ring is so pretty! Which seller did you order your hanger from? I think I prefer the wood/wire combined

LOL @ 'our fathers might be in the same town', I am upset that you knew EXACTLY what I meant in reference to my father, that's scary, LOL.

The programs actually came from Janet, a Canadian bride (I stalk that thread also, LOL). She shared her programs with me, I edited and changed colors and printed them out. Her share is right on point and make them all so easy to perfect.

Bag Tags ~ well do you remember that I am an eBay whore. Well another bride on here mentioned something about a Cuttlebug, so I went on eBay and purchased one for less than half of what they cost in store, brand new.  It is an embossing - die cutting machine.  Anywho, I used a die cut to cut the bag tags and the tags on the escort cards.  Now in that same breath, while I was on eBay stalking a Cuttlebug, I also stalked a Cricut Create, refer to a previous post when I first got them.  With a new Create (had to get a replacement because the first one just didn't work), I did the 'thank you' and the palm trees. A little adhesive & spray glue. Then there is the eyelets, with a 50% off coupon from Michael's I purchased a Crop-A-Dile and some eyelets....and VOILA!

Name a date and time and we can create some tags for you.  I need a day trip anyways!

My hanger comes from -  einspanner I liked his also because he replied very quick when I asked a question, he creates and ships within 48 hours of payment and yeah I like the wood also. He offers three different woods and three different color wires.

Yes Janet, the programs are perfect. I bought new brads for them, so I will take a picture of those when I print them all out w/ the new decor, LOL.

My concern with the flowers, is because they came in bunches I had to cut them off their thick stem, so the base are rather skinny, does that matter?

And I will wait for my pictures of your flowers!!! How are you feeling? Getting closer....

I prefer thicker base but they dont have to be too thick (harder to carry if your girls have small hands too)

You could always just put a couple of cut up stems in between where no one will see them and then when you wrap them they will be covered anyway

The programs are always popular :) i'm going to start a thread about them now so other brides can share in the fun :)

I'm finishing up my welcome kits that go in my OOT bag now so i will have to share those with you too when i am done :) will give you more ideas hahah :)

OMG SOOOOO close i leave in 12 days! i cant friggin believe it!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
