I know i am being productive but at the same time with the huge "to-do" list i have, i almost feel like i am falling behind and not being productive....its probably just the anxious in me that is making me feel that way LOL i am going to start to really freak out when there is a week left. i am living, breathing, and everything WEDDING right now. no time for anything else. Need to do groceries today and i think to myself "hmmm thats 2 hours on wedding production lost" HAHAHA but we need to eat so i will go do it anyway :P cry.gif

So today, I had the pleasure of meeting mobaybride2b and I got my travel mugs, so of course back to VistaPrint I go.  I plan to order more shirts, a hat for my grandfather, a yard sign, more pens, notepads, notecards.  Thanks to 2012mrstobe, I will be ordering vinyl for the window, matching stationery sets for my sisters and no raffia fans.  So my work is cut out for me....but of course I will keep you all updated. So on to vistaprint.  Plus ordering my shot glasses from ebay.....

DW's brings out the good, bad and ugly in people... I know people who are THERE for me no matter what but I know they won't be able to make my DW wedding for one reason or another. But I'm sorry your learning this lesson. If it helps I don't think there's a bride on here that had every single person she wanted to have or thought would come there.

Patience...patience...patience.  One box contained 15 different orders.  I literally mean 15.  I am waiting on one more to ensure that I have enough of everything for every one.

Funny thing is everyone who I want to be there, will be there.  I have stong friends and family.  Only one of my BMs (MOH) couldn't come and she told me this last year, so there are def no hard feelings, I am even making her an OOT bag because I don't consider her as a flake.  She was very honest and upfront about, yet she has still been helping me with my planning, flowers, decor, centerpieces.

As for his family, he's learning....I am always the devil when it comes to his family because I don't censored.giffoot around them and usually he stands back at let them throw stones at me.  Now, due to this wedding, he is standing in front of me and guarding me from the stones, so I couldn't ask for anything else.

As for my dress, no apology necessary.....I like that it made you excited (that sound so erotica, LOL).  Are you indeed in VA, my designer will be bringing me my dress the 14th, if you aren't busy maybe you can tag along (I don't have any friends up this way to go with)

I'm glad to hear your people will be there...I'd give my firstborn to have all of my grandparents there - but that won't happen :( And I'm super glad your man has your back. In-laws can be crazy - it's my family that gives my guy the hard time so I understand from his point of view how difficult it can be to be torn?

I'm in Norfolk/Virginia Beach - If I'm not working i'm so down!!!!! Where is this party happing???

Well, unfortunately my grandmother is no longer with us physically (so I'll have a picture along for the trip), my grandfather is walking me down the aisle.  That means a lot to him and me also (considering I could personally care less for me 'father', not that he would be available anyways(another story a different board)).  My family loves my husband and he loves being around my family because they are indeed so welcoming!!! Them people (that's what I call them) they are a different type, so closed minded.  I tell everyone, if I would have met the family first, I am not sure that we would be here together today stupid.gifwacko.gif

As for my fitting, I stay up in northern VA and he will be in Arlington, so I am pretty sure it will go down (in my Kevin Hart voice) somewhere up here in my neck of the woods.  I know that's a far trek for you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
