Yes, the combination of Ms. Independent and Superman...is a rough road!!! Yet the path is always interesting and I wouldn't change it for the world and I can tell you agree with me!

( I won't tell him you called him an investment b/c that's how I thought of mine also when we met, LOL)

So, I must say I love my grandfather!!! He is just so cute to be such an old man.  He will indeed be walking me down the aisle, and he was honored when I asked.  Yet, I just got off the phone with my grandfather and he thought the boarding pass invitation was a real boarding pass. You just have to love old people.  If we hadn't spoke, he probably would have went to the airport cursing the people out when they didn't let him through security.  Even though, on the back (which I will take pics of) they all say not valid for travel!!

Got to love my PaPa

So where do I start, I have already admitted I have ADHD and I have completly lost my place in my story.  So to back track some, when I was planning my wedding in Florida we had ordered save the date cards and they were actually pretty nice.  I used weddingpaperdivas and used a pic that we took when I came up to visit my then fiance before I moved up to Virginia.

Here they are:

Yet when I sent those out he did not yet buy the ring.  If you have read the story, you can understand why a ring was never an importance of mine.  I had my love and a growing belly (and I must had, I was not working), so a ring was never a big thing to me.  I knew when the time was right that he would pick the perfect ring.

Well, we were married for 1.5 years and I got a ring.  You know they say go big or stay home and yes he did alright for the first ring.

It is a 3 carat AAA black diamond!!! How perfect.  Completely full of flaws yet the flaws make it beautiful, so how can you resist something that is made perfect by it's imperfections.

Yet, that is not why I got on to blog today, so I came home from work and guess what the FedEx fairy left behind for me

After reading another's bride post about her escort card and how she used the CuttleBug, I went straight to eBay (as you can probably tell by now I am an eBay addict). I got both machines for less than the price of the Cricut alone.  I am so ready to play with it!!!!

Besides the Cricut, I started my t-shirts, here is my design:

This is my first t-shirt a complete disaster:

.

and here's my second:

Honest opinion ladies, should I stick with the iron ons or should I dish out the extra money to pay for screen prints for shirts people may never wear again?

Well that is all for tonight, I am going to go play with my new toy.  Maybe I will have something new to post tomorrow!!!

I think the t-shirt idea is VERY cute... Is the white there on purpose or is it how the paper came off on the t-shirt?? I think it is nice how it makes it sectioned off... on the other hand if it is not supposed to be there I would talk to some past brides about how they did theirs!!

I WOULD NOT shell out $150.00 for T-Shirts!! It honestly looks like it is supposed to be there because it looks boxed in... if you know what I mean? Because everything is in quotations...!!

I think if it was a picture it would look weird but I think for what yours are with the quotes it looks like that's how it's supposed to be!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
