I pretty much have closed my guestl ist at this point. We've heard back from just about everyone now and those we have not, I am confident will not be attending. Our RSVP due date was today anyway and we actually have just the right amount of folks attending.  I

Don't get me wrong, I had to chase quite a few people down for some type of an answer (this was done via texts, email and FB private messaging) but out of the people I had to chase down, only one of them was a yes and she was on board from the beginning, she didn't RSVP yet. Hang in there ladies, the end is almost near and try not to stress too much. I have found this whole process sort of sucks, people do not respond to things like this if they don't plan to go.

I don't really like the "all eyes on me" thing. I'm also scared that it won't be "fancy" enough for them. I'm a very simple and basic kind of girl, I don't care much about flowers, centerpieces, etc but now I'm starting to think if I don't do enough, they might think it's cheesy.

dont stress yourself... the less the better in my opinon. I myself am a realllly simple girl... The atmosphere and the location speaks for itself.. I mean c'mon nothing better then being in a destination with family and friends near the beach!!!.. there nothing to "complain" about...  if you over do it.. then it would look cheesy... keep it sweet and simple :o)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
