Hi,

If you need 55 invites you need to use 110 pages.  Your invites take up 2 full sheets of cardstock, with 6 pages so you need that x 55. (+1 more for you)

That's why you need more than one set of eyes!

On my "Good" copy I have it set out so that 1 sheet of paper is the same boarding pass thus 5 sheets will make me 3 Invites.

Now I'm not a math girl...and I am having the hardest time trying to figure out how many sheets I need to make 55 Invites.... Anyone?

These are awesome!  Did you use the aylee bits template?

I am more and more inclined to do these myself, however did you find that it would be most cost effective to take them to staples to print and cut, or buy a color printer and do it yourself?  I am pretty sure colored printing is $1 per page at staples here in canada, plus paper....hmmmm

Thoughts?

I have a few local printers that will be less than the $1 Staples charges.

I still may print them at home, we are waiting for our sample paper to arrive. It is a metallic White Cardstock (and red ones for the Pocket part) which I may not be able to use in our printer, but it's worth a try.

I'll post our final outcome when the time comes.

Your invites are awesome.  I just put mine in the mail, only to confirmed guests also.  (keep in mind that you need extra postage, I used 64 cent stamps, the post office has some nice wedding cake ones & you can always keep some personalized with zazzle.com)

I printed one out for a dummy, to ensure that my cutting was good and all that good stuff!  Good luck and I await to see the final project

I used my printer at home to print ours out.  We have an HP, I used ivory & grey heavy cardstock with no problems!

It all depends. I printed beige letters on gray & ivory cardstock, so it can work.  I used adobe photoshop to create my boarding passes, any light color that I planned to print I added a simple shadow to it to create some kind of outline. Which entail printed the beige letters on different colors.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
