Oh darn! I was hoping it was when I was there so we could share! :(

Hi @@BTOPPINGS I'm actually getting married November 18th and was considering flying a photographer down.  Do you have anyone you've looked into?  Perhaps we could share!  Where are you from?  I'm in Toronto.

Hi @@jfarrowable....I am in Vancouver. Prices are definitely cheaper from Toronto (about $300) as I have guests coming from Toronto for my wedding. I don't have anyone in mind...do you have anyone? There is also a photographer from Wisconsin (Trisha Faber) who might be willing to give us a deal??? What do you think?

@jfarrowable- this is what the photographer from Wisconsin said. She has photographed at this resort many times. She would arrive the 16th and leave on the 21st. It would be about $1900 including full day wedding coverage, all edited images, with a signed print release and an online gallery for family and friends.    Also, which location are you getting married at? what time?

LOL!  That's me!  I'm the photographer from Wisconsin :)

It's $1800 travel split between the two of you and then $1000 for the full day wedding coverage, all the edited images, and the online proofing website for family and friends.

Let me know if you have any questions at all :)

@@BTOPPINGS - I'm staying at Akumal and getting married at the Tulum gazebo... they've tentatively said 4pm... but said they would confirm timing when I get there... whatever that means lol. What about you?

@ - I've taken a look at your website - lovely pics - do you have any links to other wedding albums you've shot at this resort?

Hello,

Does anybody know the minimum number of days I could fly a photographer in to stay as 1 of my guests??.  Is it possible to have them stay as short as 2-4 days?.

Apologies if this information has previously been added!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
