I've seen the tent used for wedding receptions before and it is gorgeous!  It's going to be a great event!!  And so many people coming, what a blessing!

@HannahMarie  Thank you for sharing this! The tent looks gorgeous! Do you have any other information or photos you can share? You said that there was no cost for the tent, but I'm assuming you have to choose a menu and pay per person for the meal? Is it an additional cost for the bar, or is that included in the cost of the meal?

Just wondering if anyone has been made to pay the $900 fee to bring your own photographer? I've heard they are getting more strict on this fee, but my photographer has been to the resort many times and said she has never been charged that fee.

Thank you :)

@@N50mys Hi, your wedding photos looked beautiful, we're looking at getting married at the same Tulum location. We're also booking the Romance Extravaganza package, is it only the 25 photos included and not the photographer themselves? I automatically assumed it meant both. Thanks.

The package includes the photographer for the ceremony and champagne toast only. we're paying $400 to tack on an hour of photography after the ceremony.

Any thoughts on whether or not a bride should be barefoot for the beach ceremony?  Our ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 pm and I'm leaning towards barefoot, but not 100%...

I was barefoot and it was fantastic.  I started with flip flops on, however I took two steps into the sand and the sandals were sending sand up my dress!  I was sweating so it was sticking to me.  It was a very quick and easy decision to ditch the shoes!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
