Thank you ladies for the maracas advice it's much appreciated, I'll check out the hacienda shops ????

Sorry to keep asking questions ????

Has anyone had to get an adoption certificate legalised and translated, where have you taken it/sent it to be translated? I've figured out how to go about getting it legalised just not sure where to get it translated.

Thanks in advance x

We are having our dinner/reception poolside. You pay the cost of whichever menu you'd like and that includes the cost of the poolside rental, chairs, tables, etc. and food, drinks, etc. There really isn't a need to make the area private by paying the privatization fee.

Hi

I am looking at getting married here.  I am trying to work out costs.  Do we need to pay for a privatisation - 2500 USD and american option - 60 USD per person?  I would like to have the pool area for the reception meal however the costing isn't clear

Thank you

  • 3 weeks later...

Does anyone remember how long it took to hear back from the resort after sending back your To Confirm Availability form? I sent mine four days ago and havent heard from them yet. I'm feeling a bit antsy because my travel agent told me that dates for 2017 are booking up.

Hi @@baumyak it took over a week to confirm ours, she mixed up our dates initially and then it took more time to change back. My travel agent ended up calling the hotel directly and sorting it all out for us with someone over the phone. I wouldn't worry too much but def stay on top of it! And ask your agent to get involved if you're not getting a straight answer. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
