Tulum. They give you set menus and you only get to pick 1 meal for all your guests, which is challenging because back home you get to ask your guests chicken, beef or fish.

Ps Don Pablo is not an option they sent me

Hi all! Nikita here!!

I need to get onto this page and learn some things! Basically we WERE getting married at the grand Sirenis but cut a long story short we have now changed to the luxury Bahia principe akumal!

we fly out 14th of April 2016 and get married on the 21st at 1pm ( only time available) but I won't stress much over that.

anyway we need to send back our wedding wishes? How did you send them back? Fill them in scan them and email them back?

also we are having the private cocktail party! ( requested it )

We have the unforgettable legal package. So excited!

anyone else here at this time?

What's the best resturant? Have not decided on that yet.

Also is the ceremony allowed to be in English? Thanks for help xx

Hi everyone....

Flights in the UK have now been released from Oct 2016 onwards and although I was originally planning to get married in February 2017, I'm not thinking that December 2016 is a lot cheaper and has the same weather forecast.

Has anyone had a December wedding/holiday at the Gran Bahia? If so, could you let me know how what the weather was like please?

Also, Thomson have advised that the hotel don't want to see a Certificate of No Impediment, but our UK Government website states that we need one....has anyone else done this?

Thanks,

Steph

There are several brides here with weddings coming up next month in the Mayan Riviera. But just hunt on the internet. There is a Mexico weather website (in fact more than one if I remember correctly) that is pretty accurate in terms of what your temps will be. December is pretty good weather and the risk of hurricanes has passed so you should be ok.

Are you having your legal wedding in Mexico, or just a symbolic? There was just a bride from the UK that was married in Mexico last month. @maybeoneday  Could you chime in with whatever your requirements were?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
