$1570 is the price for the legal Sunshine wedding package which includes 20 people, payable at the resort. Each additional guest is $25. This charge would be for the extra setup and any additional costs of having a larger group.  Judge fees are not included, I think you pay the judge or minister directly. Everything I have seen says that all wedding charges are put on your bill at the resort and payable there.  I have no idea why your travel agent would have collected the fees for the wedding, that doesn't make sense to me, unless they are acting as some sort of a wedding planner as well and collecting everything and forwarding it to the resort?  Have you been communicating directly with the resort at all or are you somehow doing everything through your TA?

@@Maggietron we paid our sunshine package through our TA when we booked the holiday. I'm waiting on a reply from Linda WC as I've emailed her saying I've already paid. The TA should be able to confirm this if she gets in touch with them or I have breakdown in my holiday package which states I have paid.all my contact has been through WC Linda. @@nicolesal sorry I worded that wrong. Everything will be billed to my room. WC emailed me a breakdown of what it is all going to cost. Wasn't told by TA that I had to pay for guests over 20ppl.

I'm getting married at akumal beach hammocks. Does anyone know if I pay for 3 floral displays to be placed on top of each wooden pillar on hammock would I be able to reuse these on my tables at reception do?

@@Maggietron in just spoke with one of the wedding coordinators and she told me hammock ceremony location you will also have people in bathing suits and that tulum location is more private. Just wanted to let you know cause you were worried about that. Not sure if anyone knows from experience if this is true.

We are thinking of switching to the sunshine now. Seems only Difference are minor things not wedding related except flowers on bridal table

@@Dreamteam17, Those aren't the prices I got about a month ago. It listed the unforgettable at $1090 or $1240 for Don Pablo. When did you receive these prices? Can they change it after we have already been offered the original prices?

I got the same prices you did a while back as well. I questioned her on it and she said it was 2014 and this was the price for my wedding jan 2015. :/

@@Dreamteam17, is this coming from your wedding coordinator or Paloma? The spread sheet I got of prices has 2015 at the top, I wonder if you put up a big enough fuss if they would honour it?

I just sent a very long email to my TA about these prices, lets see what she can do lol

This was the manager of all the wedding coordinators. I haven't heard from my wedding coordinator at all it's suppose to be Maria.

Yes I am planning on forwarding her the prices I received and see what she tells me then.
