We are in the process of putting our music together. Anyone know how long of a dinner I should plan for?

We got the BBQ Buffet by the pool for dinner/reception. Do they start packing up the dinner at a certain time?

I want to see how to best organize my music timing/speeches/dances.

thanks  B)

They did start packing it up once it appeared we were all done eating and after speeches.  I would say dinner is about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours.

Thanks! and for the private dinner, it comes with 3 hours of open bar?

I assume it's extra for the last 2 hours (ends at 11?)

What happens if not everyone in our party drinks? do they still charge per person?

Hoping some1 can help me!.. Has there been any brides married recently that has brought in local makeup/hair artists??.  If so how much was the vendor fee?.

As I am a makeup/hair artist myself I would like to be in good hands on my day and would be too much to travel outwith the hotel to a local salon!.  There is the possibility I could do my own but I would love to relax and I could be really nervous on the day!.

My makeup artist friend is unable to attend and I am starting to get worried I may have to get myself & bridesmaids hair/makeup done in the hotel salon.

Hi ladies,

I am getting married in the Gazebo, Tulum this december 2014. My wedding coordinator is Fanny.

For my wedding Im going with the Romance Extravaganza package, has anyone had this package and have an opinion about the one hour canapé and toast after the ceremony, is it nice?. My ceremony is at 4pm and i think my dinner would be at Don Pablo at 5:30pm, then at 7:30pm the pool party. The package includes 2 hours  but not DJ. Do you know at what time am I supposed to have the photos taken, I mean would i have enough time? (my package includes 25 photos).

Does the wc will have like an itinerary printed to give out to my guests or do i have to do that?.

Does anyone have feedback about the pool party in the tulum pool?. Also, does anyone knows whats is the cost for children for the pool party?.

Has anyone had the light up dancing floor? its expensive but I would like to know if it is worthy.

Thanks a lot :D

@@LeeanneMUA I am undecided on what I am doing for my hair. My MOH is going to do my makeup but I heard mixed reviews about the resort salon so I am torn.

Another bride mentioned she was using besobride they come to ur room they have fb so you can check it out. They sent me their price list, More expensive then resort not by much but I don't know what the vendor fee will be? Hopefully someone on here knows cause I would like to know as well!! I agree you need to relax on your day, hopefully the vendor fee isn't too much the idea of someone coming to our room sounds more relaxing to me as well.

Talk soon

@@Dreamteam17 Thanks I will check them out.  I am just a little bit concerned we will be hit with a big fee as the hotel pretty much tell you that local vendors are not allowed in!.  If the other bride is doing it I will just go for it as it is important. :).  If I find out vendor fee any time soon I will let you know.  Happy planning!

I am going with resort salon hair and make up and hoping for the best

@@Ellia123 I have heard that it is the same price even for children, but I'm not sure where I heard that.

I asked the WC and she said its not the same price. it's age dependent

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
