I was just on the GBP website and apparently there is a new wedding package called "Romance Extravaganza".... it includes a post-ceremony cocktail hour and a 2 hr open bar reception! Does anyone have any details on the pricing of this package?

All the email addresses are all on the 1st page of this thread. The main email address (groupsmx@bahia-principe.com) goes right to the main coordinator Paloma, but she only handles the initial booking and then forwards your info off to your actual WC depending on which of the 3 resorts your staying at. I believe the individual WC's email addy's are also on that page :)

Nope!  I didn't remember the next day, to be honest.  A ton of food though!  Tons of meat, tons of sides, tons of desserts. It was awesome!

Have you posted your wedding date on this thread  - http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/9132/post-your-wedding-date/740#post_1928398

If not do so and look up and see who is there the same time - contact them via private message and see what they say - no harm in asking :)

Hello! I am new on this site. My fiance and I have been to Gran Bahia back in May 2011, and we KNOW this is where we want our wedding. We became engaged on July 4th of this year :) and I had trouble contacting the resort, but finally totally received a response from Paloma. After looking over the price list, I believe we are going to the 'unforgettable' package for $1710. We also plan to do the poolside reception, which from my understanding is about 1,100...The biggest issue I am having right now is setting a date. I am working on my doctorate degree so the wedding has to be around my time off from school... that leaves me with Thanksgiving week, Christmas/new years, mid April, or anytime in August of 2014..... august seems most reasonable because my sister is still in college, as are two of my cousins and my fiances younger brother. Furthermore, price to travel seems better in August... HOWEVER, I worry that the weather will be too hot and rainy :(

Any thoughts?

Also, I see that 10 pictures are included with the package. However, do we get a CD with more photos to take home?

Thank you :)

xo

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
