Palace Resorts: Which one has the best beach?

Recommended Posts

I can tell you that sea weed comes and goes... the ocean moves it around. Right now in Playa del Carmen... there is sea weed for kilometers! I have been here for years and never seen it like this. There are always a few spots that have it but right now the ocean is purging.

Palace resorts and beautiful... and if there is sea weed... most resorts have crews out removing it every day.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck and let me know if you want to see any particular Palace resorts... I have shot many of them.

Hello Mrsbruff2be

I actually met with our Palace Resorts sales rep just yesterday. I saw your question and had kept it in the back of my head until I saw him. I figured who better to ask then someone who has seen them all multiple times!

He said in his opinion Beach Palace and Cancun Palace have the best beaches, but if he were asked to choose he said Beach Palace!

Hope this helps, & happy planning!!

Are you planning your ceremony on the beach itself?  I too am looking at Beach Palace and Cancun Palace and wanted to know which beach would be the best in terms of being close to the water, nice backdrop when facing the ocean and the hotel and one not so close to the resort.  It appears in pictures that at Cancun Palace, it is very close to the hotel and there is a cliff to get to the water.  I wanted to be set up on the waters edge and not be so close to the hotel and the pool onlookers.

Ladies,

Quick question for those of you planning a wedding at the Beach Palace Resort... I spoke to my WC this am, and asked about the possibility of bringing decorations to have set up on the tables.  I read that many of you have brought or are planning to bring your own reception decorations.  I was told that if I bring things to decorate that they will charge me a fee of $200 per table to set things up.  Was this a charge you had to deal with or was there a way around it?  Please let me know.  Of course I'm looking to save money if possible.

Thanks!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
