Carnival Sensation Brides

KKS, I so feel your pain.  I was going to use the Sensation as an option for my guest to arrive to Nassau for my wedding. I ended up using RC because of their 12P-12A itinerary.  How did everything go?
Over all everything was really nice. The three things that rubbed me wrong was that 3 of my guests we not put on the list (after the lady called to double check the list and they were on it) i only got one bite of my cake and they threw the reat away when i was told they would serve the extra at dinner and they threw my take home marriage license away " because it looked like regular paper". Currently waiting for the official lincense to change everything over. One thing I would suggest is to talk with you on board coordinator before the first night dinner and ensure that everything is the same as you sent it. Identify a person for the land side coordinator to give everything to because you will be busy with people and taking pictures. After that, things are very busy and things may be overlooked. They refunded the money but my friend and her husband only came there for my wedding and they were unable to be there.

I am getting married on 11/08/2012!!

We are getting married on 11/08/2012. We just submitted our contract and cake order. We are actually getting married at port before the ship sets sail so that some of our family and friends that can't sail with us can still join us for the ceremony. It looks like we will have apprx. 30 guest including the wedding party. Did any of you buy the pics that are way over priced? and did any of you rent a D.J.?

Im getting married on 11/08/2012 on the Sensation. Did any of you purchase the pic packages that carnival has listed? The packages start around $500. I think that is over prices. I was wondering if you think it was worth the money or should I invite my friends and family to take pics and photo shop them later???? also for the hour reception, did anyone purchase the live entertainment or D.J. ? or do you recommend against it?? What flowers did they have for you for the ceremony? If you have pics please post!!! thx in advance!!! Felicia

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
