Hi Everyone!

 

My fiance and I will be getting married at Sirenis La Salina on April 11, 2012 :-)

 

We would LOVE to bring our own photographer, however; the quotes we have gotten so far from photographers in Calgary have been just ridiculous & way over the top. I do not wish to use the resort photographer as the quality doesn't seem to be very good...

 

Does anyone know of a local Cuban photographer up for hire, or a photography studio we could get in contact with in Varadero?

we are getting married at the Melia Varadero April 5, 2012 and am looking for the same information. If you find it be sure to post here and I will do the same..there is also the option of splitting the cost of travel for a photographer..we may even find another bride or two to split the cost..then just pay the photographers fees for each of our wedding days.

I found this resort review written by a photographer.  It also has a very detailed map showing where the resorts are.  It helped me decide on our wedding location Iberostar, Varadero:

It suggests some great wedding places in Cuba.  I hope it helps you decide!

I have raved about Roly many times before on here. He now has a facebook page "Havana Memories" it is loosely set up... but it can be a contact point for him.       Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
