**Paradisus Palma Real Details & Discussion Thread**

Recommended Posts

I have not finalized much with the resort its self. I have my date March 13.2010, Wedding: The Beach, Package: The Aqua: The Menu: Beach BBQ (but we are not have our dinner on the beach). No flower set up yet, but I sent her picture this weekend asking if some flower were included in the package or how much more it would be to have them. I know I am just doing the cake that is included in the package and bring down ribbons and flowers myself. We are not going to have a DJ. We are just going to use our IPOD/CD.

Hi

I've read in a lot of the reviews people used outside photographers at the PPR. Has anyone used their standard photographer? If so do you have any pictures posted so I can see some of their work? Were you happy with their work and what you received for the money?

Thank You

Jesse

I recall seeing some pics from the PPR house photographer - but can not remember who ... so I would recommend searching the entire Dominican Republic thread area. To the best of my recollection they were good - just not as off-the-charts as the photogs you would pay to come in.

Compare prices - it might be worthwhile to bring someone in. I know there is a local company that does great work in Punta Cana.

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if you can mix and match from the cheaper packages?

I am going with the Aqua package but I do not like the aqua table cloths, I like the ones from the Fantasy package. As the Fantasy is cheaper I would think I could just use the linens from there but do you think they will charge for that?

Hi

From my talks with Viviana, they will let you do pretty much anything you want if you want to pay for it. I also received a price sheet from her yesterday about the photo packages offered by their house photographer. If anyone would like i'd be happy to send to you (it's too large to post).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
