**Paradisus Palma Real Details & Discussion Thread**

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I visited PPR in July and got a walking tour of all the possible ceremony/reception locations. That would be my best suggestion to you. You can meet up with one of the girls on the romance team and literally ask them to show you everything. I had them show me the whole resort, including the handicap-accessible rooms. It really varies as to what you are looking for. You can have the ceremony/reception on the beach, garden, covered foyer, ballroom, large terrace, or rent a larger space that is covered but open to the beach.

Good luck with your trip!

Hi ladies,

Is anyone picking the new updated Aqua package 2011? If so, are you adding flowers to the ceremony? I am not sure what to do here. The ceremony only last about 1/2 hour so I don't if it worthy to spend extra money on the decoration (this is not a cheap package, especially when I am having around 70 guests coming to the wedding.

I m getting married on April 16, 11,  is anybody getting married around this date at this resort?

I don't know about this new updated aqua package. I'm getting married on may 7th 2011. As for the ceremony lasting on 30 min. You should try adding a few readings or a sand ceremony to stretch it out a bit. You don't want to blink and it be over.

I'm having Pastor your and he is doing the religious ceremony for me- I'm having 2 friends read poems, my sister do the sand ceremony and my best friend read first Corinthians from the Bible.

Thanks BKbeachbride for the advise. I am planning on adding the sand ceremony but let see what else I could add to pronlog the ceremony a bit longer ;)

I'm thinking on choosing the new 2011 Aqua package so I don't have to worry about the alcohol but I know already I am going to go over-budget....oh welleek.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
