Courtney, I love love the maggie dress and think it would look great on you. If it makes it any easier to decide, I say go for it. The other store makes me mad. I refeused to buy any dress in a store that would not tell me the designer and the make of the dress. They do this because they are charging you MORE and don't want you to go elsewhere to buy the dress. So, I refused to ever buy a dress from one of those stores. We have 2 in my city, I went in once, this is the game they played, and I never went back.

FYI, I fell in love with shoes in one of those stores, they were really busy, so they accidentally left me with the box and I wrote all the info down. She seriously tried to take the paper away from me that I wrote it on when she saw me. I laughed and said yeah right and walked out of the store. They were selling the shoes for $140. I got them online for $60. So, this is an example of what those stores are like.

Totally up to you though, its your dress and you need to love it no matter what, but I thought if you are tied, then why give that store your business. Oh, I also told the store that was why they were NOT getting my business.

Good Luck today Courtney, I can't think of any other gown being prettier then the Maggie gown, so I hope you buy it it will be breathtaking on you!

I agree with Julie, how can a store expect you to buy a dress that you don't even know the desighner, this is crazy to me. Imagine buying any other item and the store refusing to let you know the make, "oh I am so sorry but we cannot allow you to know the make and model of that stereo system until after you have paid for it..." I don't think so that store would be out of business so fast, but anything to do with bridal stuff it is accepted that we can be treated like that, sorry it just bugs me. We all have a right to know what we are paying for.

Having said all that I still hope you buy whichever dress is YOUR dream dress. Can't wait to find out, and hopefully see pics of you in it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
