Post your centerpieces here

Here's mine ...the 3 candle holders around the vase shouldn't look like that ... I have been using them for months and the candle melted in the holders .. but you get the idea ...

I brought half of it down in my last visit to Jamaica and left them there ... I am packing and bringing the rest with me in April ...

Thanks! They are plastic orchids from Hobby Lobby (they were 4.99 but I got them at 50% off). They look real under the water and I added crystals "bling" at the bottom of the vase and a few on the leaves. At night, the "bling" reflects on the candles and I think that it looks nice at night.

We were trying to cut costs because flowers are so expensive in Cabo, so we went on a crafty shopping day, and had the same thought with the beach glass inside. We also have sand colored beach glass with seashells around the outside of the big vase. The beach glass and colored candle really makes a difference, if you are looking for some color. We're pretty happy with these. we will put more blue glass and less sand inside.

We found the large and small matching votives at wal-mart. The large one was four dollars, and the small votives were fifty cents.
I'm so late with this...but your trial centerpiece looks great! Thanks for sharing wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
