Post your centerpieces here

We aren't bring center pieces to Cuba with us, so we are using silk rose petals in our colours and "sprinkling" them on the table.

But for the AHR this is our inspiration!!

I will probably use a narrower vase so the candle matches and clear beads in the bottom rather than the rocks.

Are the orchids fake flowers? I have been looking everywhere for purple/blue orchids!!! where did you get them?

Wow great inspirational pictures! I love them all!

I don't have a picture but I will describe it. :) My centre piece will consists of seashells and other "sea" stuff in a clear glass round vases filled with water with a floating candle on top. I bought these fake seashells and bits from Michaels Store, round vases from Dollarama and floating candles from Ikea.

The only challenge I see if bringing 5 glass vases down to mexico in a suitcase. :/

I will be using real ones because the fake would be almost the same $$ the only place I've found that has them is a company called artistic floral design. Google them and check it out... B/C we are looking to do the 3 vase combo it was just about the same cost for the trio of vases, candle, rocks and flowers... Not worth the hassle of bringing it down for me personally

Seeing as our wedding was in Mexico, I decided to make tissue paper flowers for our centerpieces and napkin rings (people ended up wearing the flowers as the night wore on and the tequila flowed). I'm sure I saved some money, but it was pretty time consuming to make the flowers in the months before the wedding. I bought some cheap vases and margarita pitchers at an awesome glass store in Playa Del Carmen, then picked up limes at a local farmers market.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
