Post your centerpieces here

Well the flowers are all tissue paper so we will makeall the flowers here and then fluff them when we get there. I have enough people to help so it won't take long. The foam rings will be distributed amongst my guests. I might go with the paper lantern that is posted on this thread or I will use the metal ones and transport the flowers. Use your friends and family, if you ask each person to bring one or two things they won't mind.

Hi Ladies

This is what I am thinking of going with. Ignore the flowers and ribbonin the top   (they're from a wedding in the 90's that I was in lol) as we will be using real ones from the resort and may switch out the white rocks with sand or water beads colored blue. Any advice on which option would be much appreciated. They look nice with the candles lit in dim lighting too! :)

Thanks!

I bought the acryllic ice off another bride and some at the dollorama store up here in canada. I am going to buy some fresh flowers and try them in the vase with the blue water pearls also cause I think that option is what will end up looking best with flowers rather than rocks or sand (would need the little water tube things for the stem of the flowers if I went that route). I think the rocks look better with bamboo stick which I may use for my AHR instead of fresh flowers but since I am paying for them in mexico I want to get double use out of them lol :)

Most importantly, these are made of paper that is light and can be folded up for travel. I will also have the maracas. I don't want too much more or I think it will look too busy.

Where did you get the lantern?  I love these!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
