Hello,

Wanted to see if there are any other Xcaret Eco park brides out there. I am getting married in May and wanted to see if anyone has set their menu up yet, or ever had the food at Xcaret.

Thanks!

Welcome! Try searching for the thread specific to that resort and you should be able to find past and future brides!  Good luck!

Congratulations and welcome to the forums. I wasn't lucky enough to eat at Xcaret when I was there. I can tell you that it is a fantastic place to hold a wedding and the ceremony site in the gazebo is beautiful! Here is a link to a wedding I shot there for you get an idea of the location! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.387414324486.165112.18683524486&type=1

Hi, JessiTaylor! My fiance and I are thinking of booking this place. I have been there before with my family, and a friend from Mexico was married there and recommended the place to me. Any info. you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I just got engaged so I haven't done much research. What are the price ranges? By the way, when is your wedding? Happy planning! Thanks!

out of all of the places i looked at it was the most expensive - frankly its not cheaper than having a wedding back in london (and i imagine in the US too), but i LOVED it!! everywhere else looked second rate after id seen it! you have the option of having only the ceremony there, ceremony and cocktail or ceremony and reception. you hire each location individually, then food and drink are seperate. food and drink have service charge 15%, everything has extra 11% tax

the ceremony locations are all pretty much 1,500 dollars...chapels, archealogical areas and beach areas

restaurant rental (no food and drink) la isla - 4253 dollars, hacienda patio (actually thats one of the pictures i took where i didnt know the name) 4300 dollars, dos playas restaurant (up to 70 people) 3780 dollars, laguna restaurant 3780 dollars (up to 150 ppl), la caleta restaurant 3780 dollars (up to 150 people), la cocina restaurnat 3780 dollars (100 people max)

i can send you the pdf package info in either english or spanish (pesos prices work out marginally cheaper) as theres a lot of info! food wise starters are 8.50-9.50, main courses are around 30-38 dollars, desserts are all 9.50

domestic open bar - 29 dollars per person for 3 hours, 9 dollars per person per extra hour. this bar includes spirits (j&b whisky, rum, smirnoff vodka etc...all the main ones) cocktails (pina coladas, fruit margaritas and daquiriis) soft drinks - sodas, juices, waters. theres a fancier bar option but not really worth it in my opinion

or...corkage 22 dollars per personfor 5 hours. so dont think youd save money?

xcaret dont provide flowers and a few things so im investigating vendors now...my wedding is march 9th 2013! if you want the pdf you can pm me with your email. and if you choose it as your venue i can keep you updated with my progess so you know how to handle the aspects they dont deal with!

ooh also if you want to know about other private venues i visited a few (actually i have a thread somewhere "my big fat site visit" - wickys beach club, isla pasion etc) so you can ask me about them too! happy planning =)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
