My DIY monogram. Advice or opinions appreciated...

Recommended Posts

Hoping for third time lucky! You ladies have been such a help- every single piece of advice has been spot on and it's definitely nearing a place I'm very happy with. Just in case there's something I'm missing that could make it better, here's my latest.

Again, any constructive feedback will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I think I like it (though I keep looking at the fantastic ones on here and wishing it looked a bit more professional...) Sent FI the link to here and he definitely favours the latest one. Who knows, I may fiddle with it in a few days but for now I'm happy.

I love your sea turtle image! I am just thinking if you faded the turtle a little, your initials would stand out...just a thought. I do love your colors? Do you mind if I ask where Bayahibe is?

Whereabouts in the Uk do you live? My fiance is from Scotland.

Do you mind checking my thread about my monograms that I posted a few days ago. Would love your feedback also!

So disregard this last message as I didn't see you initial monogram. I like this one better! I do think I prefered the text underneath the image straight.. Again you are going to get lots of opinions so go with what you like best!

Yeah, my OH proposed with a turtle (it's a long story lol) so thought we'd keep it running throughout the wedding. I'll definitely try fading the turtle a little more, thanks. Bayahibe is a little fishing village in the south of the Dominican Republic, where we got engaged too :). We're in Manchester, though my FI is originally from Glasgow :). How about you?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
