Hi Girls!!!

 

I am getting married at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana on October 27th, 2012. I cannto wait. We are going down this Septemebr to see the place and decide on where we want to get married, have the cocktail hour, and the reception. I wanted to start a thread for all Hard Rock brides to discuss an issues, ideas etc..

 

I sent out my save the dates the other day and have got rave reviews so far. i did the boarding passes and fully designed them ourselves. I made the background of each page either the Hard Rock swirls, Rock and Roll Tattoos, or Love Tattoos to go with the whole theme. I will take pics of them and post them here soon.

 

I am starting to think of the OOT bags and waht to put in them. One good idea I heard is a booklet that you make with a picture of each person coming to the wedding and alittle fun blurb about them so everyone can get to know everyone since most destination weddings are intimate. I think I am also going to do the plastice cups, sun block, aloe, advil, pepto, shot glasses, fun treats to eat, chapstick, tide pen, bubble bath since Hard Rock has those awesome bath tups in the rooms. Any other advice or tips on what to put in the OOT bags?

 

So has anyone gotten married here since it turned in a Hard Rock? I'd love to hear about it or see your pics!

Hi Beachbride312- We brushed our teeth every night with the water fromt he sink and we were fine. If I wnted water to drink i used the bottle water in the mini bar but I did take advil with the water from the tap and was fine. It says taht the water is purified throughout the entire resort and is safe for drinking. But there is free bottled water inthe mini bar so you can alwys use that if you wanted to.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
