Any Half Moon Brides??

Recommended Posts

I think I am srtill stuck with Half Moon. I passed this resort as I have been to Jamaica like 5 times. I wish I would have stayed there on one of those trips. My FI brought up a good point. He said most guest will be there for the weekend so no need to worry about them being bored. If they come in on Friday, Half Moon has a beach BBQ to my understanding that we can all attend as a group. Saturday is the wedding and Sunday some guest may be leaving and if not we can plan a tour or something or a farewell brunch. Also, Margaritaville is not far from Half Moon so if we really wanted to we can always go there.

Margaritaville sounds fun!  I actually have quotes for a catamaran tour aka booze cruise that takes you snorkeling, services drinks on the boat and takes you to Margaritavilla to hang out and play in their water stuff.  We are treating our guests to this and the tour will pick us up at our hotel.

Hi ladies!

I just got back from my site visit to Half Moon.  We have our wedding booked for April next year, following a very similar plan to Mrs. Robinson's (by coincidence... great minds think alike!).

We did the Paint Your Special Day package for our stay and were treated like royalty!

Shanoya is amazing to work with.  She's really helpful and incredibly sweet.

I love everything about the resort and am so excited to return for our wedding.

I just saw your site and was blown away. I actually book marked it to use as a model. It's not that it is the fanciest website (I mean the template), but it was clearly written and very informative. I also love the way you organized it and the photos you picked were beautiful. I do love the activities you chose. Looks like fun. Wish I was invited! :-) Your guests should have no problem understanding what needs to be done.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
