The new Paradisus Playa del Carmen (La Perla and La Esmeralda)

Recommended Posts

You don't have to pay for day passes for blue lens caribe, since they are the preferred vendor. I put my deposit down with blue lens a few months ago...the package prices listed include fees/taxes/etc. I'm so excited b/c they do fab work!!!! I'm working with Ashley, she's a gem;)

How long from the airport did it take to get to Paradisus Playa Del Carmen La Esmeralda?  I'm also gonna be booking at this hotel for my wedding.  Did you guys get a form to fill out to hold the date of your wedding?  I just haven't gotten a response back yet & needed to know what info they need from us to be able to secure our date.  If you have that form, would you be able to attach it to here, just so I can check out the details?   Ok thanks!
You'll have to contact the romance dept in Miami because they have to tell you whether or not the day is available before they send you the reservation form. Call and ask to speak with Jessica, she's my coordinator, she is always on her toes!

You know what's ridiculous...for them to charge so much for everything when the place is in the ghetto. I dont mean a not so rich area, I mean shacks and corrugated metal for walls and roofs. It's shady as heck. You would not want to wander outside this compound. when our taxi pulled up I really wanted to tell him to just turn around because I didnt' want to bother seeing the property.
While I agree that some of the prices at destination wedding resorts can be astronomical (outside vendor fees, ceremony extras, etc.), in my humble opinion I believe you get what you pay for!!!! I'm soooooo looking forward to a wonderful, chic wedding at Paradisus:cool: Ladies, we picked THE BEST resort in Playa Del Carmen...toodles!

Sorry ladies I have not been on here lately....took forever but I'm officially done with my save the dates!! I really hope people book their rooms quickly bc the resort doesn't block rooms for a long period.... In regards to the fee associated with The gabi club, It's depends on if you have the aqua package or tailor package. You get charged either way, but believe aqua package is more ...make sens since you are already paying 12 k for the tailor package

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
